For applicant under 18 years old, the following supplementary documents are required:
1. Photocopy of the unabridged birth certificate of the applicant;
If necessary, the consular officer may require the applicant to provide other proof documents or supplementary materials, or require an interview with the applicant. The consular officer will decide on whether or not to issue the visa and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant. Express service needs approval of consular officials, and extra fees may apply.
2. Photocopy of the parents’ passports or ID cards;
3. The Affidavit from non-accompanying parent(s) authorizing the travel(Parental Letter of Consent). This affidavit should contain the dates of travel and the parents contact information.
Notice on Facilitating Foreign Nationals with Chinese Covid-19 Vaccinations
1.To resume people-to-people exchange between China and other countries in an orderly manner, starting from 15 March 2021, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Indonesia will provide visa facilities to foreign nationals who have received certificates of Chinese vaccines against Covid-19. The certificates should be approved by the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Indonesia. Foreign nationals may apply Chinese visa with relevant documents in the following conditions:
1)Foreign nationals and accompanying family members going to China to resume work.
2)Foreign nationals going to China for humanitarian reasons, such as family reunion, supporting parents, visiting family members, attending a funeral.
"Family members" should be Chinese nationals or foreign nationals holding Chinese permanent residence permit and refers to the spouse, parents, siblings, children, grandparents and grandchildren.
3)Foreign nationals holding APEC Business Travel Cards.
2.In view of the COVID-19 epidemic, visa applications for tourism, medical treatment and other private purposes have been suspended temporarily by the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Indonesia.
3.Foreign nationals holding valid Chinese visa issued before 28 March 2020 should re-apply for a new visa as stated in Article 1 of this notice.
4.Passengers flying to China from Indonesia, please follow the latest request regarding the Covid-19 nucleic test and antibody test before boarding. For foreign nationals, please follow the local quarantine policy in China.
